Three-dimensional ultrasonic imaging device

A three-dimensional ultrasonic imaging device capable of automatic judgment and an improved the internal examination of an object by ultrasonic wave. The device comprises an ultrasonic transducer having piezoelectric vibrators, a driven element selecting section for selecting a piezoelectric vibrator to oscillate an ultrasonic wave from the ultrasonic transducer, a signal detection circuit for emitting an ultrasonic wave oscillated from the selected piezoelectric vibrator into an object to be examined, receiving reflection echoes from the object, and detect electric signals of the reflection echoes, a signal processing section for creating three-dimensional imaging data I by parallel-computing the electric signals of the detected reflection echoes, and a display unit for capturing the three-dimensional imaging data from the signal processing section, correcting the image brightness of the three-dimensional image data so as to flatten the imaging intensity distribution of the data and displaying the correction result.
