Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is Chinese cabbage chitinase CHB4 gene and its cloning process, and features that specific DNA segment and 5' end sequence segment are cloned from Chinese cabbage genome DNA with known chitinase gene sequence of cruciferous plant and through comparing and designing primer; and 3' end sequence segment is obtained with salicylic acid induction and the foliage RNA of highest enzyme activity plant as template and through RACE rection, so that the chitinase CHB4 gene in the whole length 1517bp is cloned on the basis of cloned Chinese cabbage chitinase gene segment and through re-designing primer and PCR. The present invention lays the foundation for further utilization of bioengineering technology to transfer exogenous chitinase gene into various kinds of plant so as to raise the antifungal capacity of plant and culturing disease resisting plant breed.
