This invention discloses a method for recovering electrolytic liquid carried by work pieces and fixtures. The apparatus comprises a first white oil tank, a second white oil tank, and a clear water tank. There are ultrasonic generator and oil-water separator in all these three tanks. Ultrasonic treatment can ensure complete removing of electrolytic liquid carried by complex electrolytic work pieces and fixtures, thus reducing the utilization amount of detergent. Besides, the recovered electrolytic liquid is pure, and can be directly returned to the electrolytic tank for reuse. The good degreasing effect of ultrasonic treatment can ensure the processing of another electroplating process for the next step, thus this invention is suitable for all electroplating processes. By using this invention, electroplating wastewater is not produced, thus can realize zero discharge of heavy metals and harmful substances.
