Dialogue supporting apparatus

There is provided a dialogue support device capable of easily selecting a desired example from example candidates corresponding to the speech inputted. The dialogue support device (100) includes: a speech recognition unit (104) for recognizing a continuous speech inputted; a database unit (115) having an example database (105) or the like holding correspondence of examples of an original languageand a target language; an example selection unit (108) for selecting at least one example from the example database (105) according to the speech recognition result or the operation of a GUI unit (102); an example comparison unit (112) for comparing at least one example selected by the example selection unit (108) to the speech recognition result, calculating a score of the word from the appearance position of the word, and calculating the display parameter for each word of each example according to the score of the word; and the GUI unit (102) for displaying the example according to the display parameter.
