Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed is an austenitic stainless steel with excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance which is characterized by consisting of, in weight%, C: 0.030% or less, Si: 0.1% or less, Mn: 2.0% or less, P: 0.03% or less, S: 0.002% or less, Ni: 11-26%, Cr: 17-30%, Mo: 3% or less, N: 0.01% or less and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities. Also disclosed is a method for producing an austenitic stainless steel wherein a piece of the above-described austenitic stainless steel is subjected to a solution treatment at 1,000-1,150 1/2 C. Further disclosed are piping and reactor internal structures for nuclear reactors which employ the austenitic stainless steel. |
