A multi-functional running machine and its controling method

PURPOSE: A multi-functional running machine is provided to allow a user to perform various motions, like stretching of legs, abdominal muscle, waist, or body etc. except for walking and running, according to the motor operation information, detected by sensor, and the motion program, selected by him/her. CONSTITUTION: The multi-functional running machine includes: a lower frame(1), having a running belt(5) which is configured as an endless track and surrounds a rotating axis which is connected with a motor so as to be rotated by the latter; a support frame(2), vertically installed on one side of the lower frame(1); a grip(3) and an instrument board(4) which are attached to the support frame(2). The running belt(5) is reciprocally moved within a determined range by a control device. The control device comprises: a sensor, detecting the operation information of the motor; and a servo mechanism, controlling the rotation motion of the motor according to the operation information, input from the sensor, and the motion program, selected by a user.
