Image capturing and displaying method and system

A mobile communication terminal having a dual display unit and a photographing method using the same are provided to capture two still images of the same or different subjects simultaneously or with delay by using a dual camera and obtain a new still image by synthesizing the captured still images, thereby easily and variously displaying the images captured from the dual camera by using the dual display units. A photographing method using a dual camera comprises the following steps of: providing a preview function to the first and second display units installed in a terminal with respect to the first and second external images each received in real time through the first and second cameras installed in the terminal(S100); respectively capturing the first and second still images through the first and second camera according to at least one or more still image photographing signals received from the outside(S110); and displaying the captured first and second still images on at least one or more of the first and second display units(S120).
