Refrigerator

The invention provides a refrigerator having inexpensive construction for saving energy by reducing the air resistance of an air duct which supplies cold air while improving the supply of the cold air into containers. The refrigerator comprises cold air discharge ducts (53, 54) provided in a partitioning member (50) which parts a freezing chamber (34) from a cooler chamber (62) for discharging cold air into the freezing chamber (34), and the multistage containers (42, 43, 44) installed for storing foods. On the back wall of the upper-stage container (42 or 43) out of the multistage containers(42, 43), an inclined face (42a or 43a) is provided facing the upper face opening of the lower-stage container (43 or 44). A discharge port (53a or 54a) of the cold air discharge duct (53 or 54) is provided in opposition to the inclined face (42a or 43a) of the upper-stage container (42 or 43).
