Continuous production of polyolefins with a bi- or multimodal molecular weight distribution comprises suspension polymerization in a series of reactors (R1, R2.x, R3.y) operating under different reaction conditions. Off-gases (A1, A2.x, A3.y, A4, A5) from all of the reactors are collected, compressed, cooled and separated into liquid and gas fractions, which are recycled to different points in the polymerization process.
