Zusammenfassung:The invention provides the use of phosphono derivatives of selected aliphatic acids represented by the structural formulae R-COOH, R being PO3H2 or CR1R2-PO3H2 where R1/R2 are H, OH, COOH or alkyl groups for the treatment of malaria. The use of the compound comprises administering an effective amount of said compounds for in vitro and in vivo studies using malarial parasites (Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium berghei).
