Permanent magnet rotor for a brushless electrical machine

The rotor has a rotor shaft having a plastic cage (5) with webs (10), which form retainers (7) of dovetailed shape. Permanent magnets (6) of trapezoidal shape are inserted in the retainers. The magnets, in their central region, rest directly against a return ring (4), where the radial exterior faces of the webs (10) and the magnets form together a continuous exterior face. The gaps between the magnets are filled with plastic material of the webs. The height dimensions of the web are larger than the magnets, while the width dimension of the webs viewed in radial direction is smaller than the magnets.
