The present invention relates to a method for forming theater distribution diagram for seat booking/ticket selling and method for providing seat booking service using the same. The method for forming theater distribution diagram for seat booking/ticket selling comprises the steps of: (a) loading the graphic files of theater structure; (b) getting the objects of each layer in the graphic files; (c) getting the coordinate information and type information of each object, converting the same with predetermined rules; (d) getting the attribution information of each object; and (e) storing the additive attribution information in the coordinate information data files or additive data base. According to the invention, a theater distribution diagram is formed quickly by using the graphic files of theater structure such as CAD, and more functions are provided by rendering theater distribution diagram through geographic information system engine.
