Bar feeder and bar machining system

The bar material supplying machine of the invention has a swing member (66) which is swung by a rotary shaft (64) disposed above a guide rail (30). Normally, the swing member (66) stands by in the vicinity of an upper position extending from the rotary shaft (64) and over the guide rail (30) up to material shelving (20). The swing member (66) is rotated forward from the upper position to a lower position on the far side from the material shelving (20) with respect to the guide rail (30). During this time, the swing member (66) receives a bar material from the material shelving (20) and resupplies it to the guide rail (30). When it is desired to take out a bar material from the guide rail (30), this is attained by controlling the movement of the bar material onto the swing member (66) by a control member (108), and moving the swing member (66), with no bar material carried thereon, to the lower position, so as to define a take-out space (79) between the rotary shaft (64) and the material shelving (20). Thereby, the bar material resupplied to the guide rail can be easily removed from the guide rail.
