Maintenance method for network apparatus

The maintenance method includes procedures: server of equipment management sends down objects of event management to proxy of device ends; the proxy of device ends maintains network equipment based on objects of event. Through adding dummy nodes including objects of resource in real time and objects of resource in event to management tree, the method can take full advantage of each resource of network equipment to implement each function of network equipment and maintain network equipment smartly. Objects of event management are setup in the management tree for device ends; and triggering conditions and prearranged defined operations are setup in advance for objects of event management. After events of triggering conditions occur, the prearranged operations can be executed automatically. Thus, device ends possess abilities for executing management or other operations sent from server according to given times or conditions so as to reduce load of network and raise efficiency of system.
