During preparing TiNx film, one Hall source excited magnetron sputtering type enhanced magnetically filtering multiple arc ion plating equipment is adopted to form compact TiNx film with thickness of 2 micron, micro hardness Hv of 30-40 GPa and excellent combination to the substrate. The TiNx film can prolong the service life of the cutter.
