Spacer sheet and method of transporting plate-like body using the spacer sheet

A spacer sheet disposed on the surface of one sheet of plate-like body or between a plurality of plate-like bodies. The spacer sheet comes in contact with a plate-like structure in a contact area smaller than the area of the spacer sheet. The ratio of the contact area of the spacer sheet to the contact area of the plate-like body is desirably 50% or less, more desirably 20% or less, and most desirably 10% or less. By properly selecting the shape of an irregular pattern and the direction of forming the pattern, organic substances can be prevented from being transferred to the surface of a plate-like body such as a glass substrate in contact with the spacer sheet or dirt can be prevented from adhering thereto, and static electricity can be prevented from occurring when the spacer sheet is peeled off.
