Zusammenfassung:	An organic light emitting device with a transparent moisture absorption layer suitable for a front emission type and improved contrast and a method of manufacturing the organic light emitting device are provided. The organic light emitting device includes a substrate, an encapsulation substrate, an organic light emitting unit interposed between the substrate and the encapsulation substrate, and a transparent moisture absorption layer containing at least one of a metal oxide and a metal salt with an average particle diameter of 100 nm or less, a binder, and a light absorbing material absorbing light in a visible wavelength range.
