Zusammenfassung:The two-step calcining process of producing high quality high purity magnesite with natural cryptocrystalline magnesite includes the steps of: water washing cryptocrystalline magnesite, drying, crushing to 0-5 mm size, roasting in a boiling furnace, stepped milling, mixing the ground material with anionic activating agent, pressing ball inside a dry ball pressing system, curing for 48 hr, and calcining in a high temperature vertical oil kiln at 1950-2050deg.c for 18-20 hr. The product has a MgO content of 98-99 %, bulk density of 3.40-3.45g/cu cm. Compared with sea water magnesite, the product has low production cost and high fire resisting strength.
