System for mobile radio communication with at least one subscriber area located in an overall area

The invention relates to a system for mobile radio communication with mobile terminals, comprising modules that can be inserted into said mobile terminals. At least one subscriber area within which communication from and/or to the mobile terminals takes place under special conditions is defined within the overall area covered by the communication system. The inventive communication system furthercomprises means with the aid of which it can be established whether the mobile terminal is located within said subscriber area. According to the invention, said means are disposed on the module or ina determining unit which can be accessed by remote interrogation. The invention also relates to a method for operating a mobile communication system.
