Method and apparatus for electricity saving of electronic apparatus

The invention is an electricity-saving method and device for an electronic device, mainly storing an electricity-saving executing program in the device. As the electronic device starts up, it starts the electricity-saving executing program to enter in a scanning ready state, provides set time parameter as a comparison standard, and forms a startup mechanism of the electricity-saving executing program. Once started up, i.e. after the time parameter is set, the electricity-saving executing program will keep scanning to detect if the input unit of the electronic device is used; as the input operation of the input unit is detected, executes the corresponding function according to the input operation and starts up the timing function to compare with the time parameter, and determines the input operation is abnormal if the time counting reaches or exceeds the set time parameter, and starts up to switch off the power supply of the electronic device so as to save the electricity.
