Smoke screen generator

A smoke screen generator in which the field of view is shut off instantaneously (short time) by emitting smoke without requiring any heater or an accumulator and a sound for intimidation can be generated, in which spreading performance of smoke screen can be enhanced by the number of smoke ejection openings and the angle of smoke ejecting direction, and in which a required quantity of smoke can be emitted in a short time in a limited space. The smoke screen generator comprises an igniter, a smoke emitting agent being fired by the igniter to emit smoke, and a combustion chamber for containing the smoke emitting agent provided with an opening for ejecting gas smoke generated through combustion of the smoke emitting agent to the outside, wherein a member for holding the pressure of gas smoke is provided at the smoke ejection opening.
