Liner and clothes using the liner

The invention provides a pad facilitating or eliminating attachment operation of a cup shape retaining bone formed along the lower ends of right and left bust cup parts, reducing the production costs of garments such as a brassier or a body suit, and enabling improvement in wearing feeling or its design property, and provides a garment using the pad. The pad is provided with a groove part for inserting a bone member into the pad to which the bone member is to be attached. In one part of the pad, the strength thereof is improved by setting the thickness of the pad material thicker or setting the compressibility of the pad material higher. Therefore, the bone retaining function portion is formed integrally on the part of the pad to retain the cup shape.
