Method, apparatus and equipment for explaining electronic documents with notes

The invention provides a method and equipment used for a display machine to select, synchronize synthesis, display and handle text and image literatures in a readable form. In the best embodiment of the invention, the text and image files of the literatures, for example the patent literature, are stored on the separate magnetic tape media at first. The data files are selected from the magnetic tape and then stored on a faster medium, for example on an HDD. The text and image files are synchronously synthesized and an approximate equivalent relationship is set up between the text files and the image files by using an exploratory algorithm, thereby generating the equivalent files. The equivalent files stored on a hard disc or a compact disc and the image files are combined together as the source of a computer display system.
