A deodorant agent comprising as the active ingredient ginkgo, paper birch or an extract thereof. Thus, it is possible to provide a highly safe deodorant agent by which the emission of unpleasant body odor such as sweat odor, in particular, armpit odor can be fundamentally prevented.
