Zusammenfassung:In a xerographic printing apparatus, a scorotron (12) places a uniform charge on a photoreceptor (10) for forming electrostatic latent images. Two conductive pin arrays (30,32) are disposed in a housing defined by sidewalls (36,38) and a grid (34) adjacent the photoreceptor (10). For each array (30,32), the distance to the adjacent sidewall (36,38) is 1.0 to 1.5 the distance to the grid (34).
