Zusammenfassung:	The present invention discloses one kind of method for inhibiting the expression of target gene in cell, and the method includes selecting specific sequence from the target gene, utilizing the sequence in designing double strand capable of generating the small interference RNA (siRNA) or other RNA (siRNA precursor or siRNAp) of the present invention, introducing the RNA to inhibit the expression of cell gene. The method may be used in preventing and treating some diseases, such as SARS and HIV infection. The method may be in vivo or in vitro performed. The produced siRNA is normally sequence with 23 or less nucleotides, and the method of the present invention is suitable for double strand RNA of any length.
