MTV playing method for wireless network and wireless handheld apparatus and wireless network

The method includes steps: (1) file operation function edits a MTV file in use for wireless network and wireless handheld device; (2) reading header information at start of file (FHDR, data block) to obtain MTV file information; (3) a content diverter picks up audio, video and caption data, which are sent to corresponding decoder respectively for further decoding; (4) decoder decodes the said data and carries out synchronous processing, and sends the processed data to each relevant device to be played back. Features of the new MTV file format and method are: suitable to CPU with low processing capability, less storage space and small electric power consumption.
