Zusammenfassung:In an electrical connector (101), a shell (10) includes a body portion (11,12) and a folded portion (18) extending from the body portion and folded inward of the body portion. The body portion surrounds an outer peripheral surface of an insulator (30) having a fitting portion (1) for receiving a mating member and holding a contact (20) adapted to be electrically connected to the mating member. The folded portion includes a contact point portion (19) to be contacted with the mating member in the fitting portion and a spring portion (18b) coupled to the contact point portion to make the contact point portion be elastically movable.
