Zusammenfassung:	A parking brake assembly (58) for an air actuated disc brake (8) comprising an operating shaft (14) for amplifying a force supplied by an air actuator (15) and transmitting the force to brake pads (25), the operating shaft being pivotable about an axis between a rest position at which a brake force is not applied and an actuated position at which a braking force is applied, a formation (62) being provided on the operating shaft, the formation being selectively engageable by a complementary latch (52) of the assembly to retain the operating shaft in an actuated position and thereby apply the parking brake.
