An abrasive grinding belt (3) is run between the sample (1) and a counter-body (4), whereby the grinding belt (3) is pressed against the sample (1) with a pre-determined force by the counter-body (4). The position of the counter-body (4) is determined at at least two different timepoints and the wear resistance of the surface of the sample determined from the difference in the determined positions. |
