H218O production method and apparatus for rectifying 18O isotope enriched water

The invention discloses a method to produce heavy oxygen water and a water rectification device for enriching heavy oxygen isotopic water. The method of this invention includes enriching heavy oxygen isotopic water with the water rectification device, electrolyzing to prepare heavy oxygen isotopic oxygen and combine the isotopic oxygen with hydrogen to prepare heavy oxygen water. The device mainly includes several series or series/parallel rectification tower each filled inside with particle filler with specific area 1000 to 3000 square meter/cubic meter and lustring filler with specific area 350 to 700 square meter/cubic meter. The source of the method in the invention is natural water which is a cheap, expedience source. The rectification device is of simple structure, safe operation, low cost, no harm to the environment. The device and the method when adopted together will obtain heavy oxygen water with the heavy oxygen isotopic oxygen of density of 10 to 97 percents, deuterium of natural abundance.
