Regulation of quinolate phosphoribosyl transferase expression

This invention relates to a tobacco plant cell comprising an exogenous nucleic acid construct encoding a quinolate phosphoribosyl transferase enzyme. The invention also relates to a tobacco plant comprising the plant cell. A tobacco product obtained from the tobacco plant is also provided.
