The implant, consisting of an anchoring shank (1), a male (6) or female insert to co-operate with a glenoid cavity or implant, has a movable support (5) that engages directly or indirectly with the upper end of the shank and an intermediate neck (7) and is in the shape of a basket with at least three curved branches. The branches, which have toothed outer surfaces to engage with spongy bone tissue, are spaced at intervals that give the support and generally hemispherical shape.
