Overcurrent protecting element

The present invention discloses an overcurrent protection element. It includes a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer and a high-molecular current-sensing layer which is sandwiched between said first electrode layer and second electrode layer. The described high-molecular current-sensing layer contains a silicate plate whose weight percentage is 2%-4%. Said silicate plate is a nano material whose thickness is 0.7-1.3 nm and diameter is 100-500 nm. Said invented overcurrent protection element has good fire-resisting property, and can be used in high-voltage place.
