Plasma display screen and drive method thereof

The drive method of plasma display screen includes the steps of regulating sub-field to hold discharge time and display image brightness, regulating contrast, etc. The plasma display screen divided into several sub-fields for separate driving receives outside digital signal, and has video scanning converter for the required resolution and drive part for compensating the digital signal and controlling the image brightness and contrast. The present invention has the advantages of no need of converting the digital signal into analog signal for expressing the image signal and no signal distortion and attenuation.
