Zusammenfassung:The drive method of plasma display screen includes the steps of regulating sub-field to hold discharge time and display image brightness, regulating contrast, etc. The plasma display screen divided into several sub-fields for separate driving receives outside digital signal, and has video scanning converter for the required resolution and drive part for compensating the digital signal and controlling the image brightness and contrast. The present invention has the advantages of no need of converting the digital signal into analog signal for expressing the image signal and no signal distortion and attenuation. The present invention has brightness regulating part and contrast regulating part set in the PDP driver for regulating the image brightness and contrast in the display panel. 本发明涉及等离子显示屏及其驱动方法,本发明等离子显示屏驱动方法,它包括通过调节子场维持放电时间来显示映像亮度的阶段和调节对比度阶段等组成。分成多数个子场驱动的等离子显示屏,从外部接收数字信号输入并为实现满足操纵面板上清晰度要求的转换而设置的视频扫描转换器和为了对上述数字信号进行补偿的同时控制显示在操纵面板上对应于数字信号的映像亮度和对比度而设置的驱动部。本发明的优点效果是:根据本发明等离子显示屏及其驱动方法,数字信号不用转换成模拟信号也能表示映像信号,并且能防止信号失真和衰减。本发明在PDP驱动装置内设置了亮度调节部和对比度调节部,以此调节显示在操纵面板上的映像亮度和对比度。
