Multiple optical disc recording/playing device and its control method

The present invention relates to multiple optical disc recording/playing device and its control method. The multiple optical disc recording/playing device consists of tray for setting optical disc; optical disc rotating motor and rotating stage on the tray; light pick-ups installed on the two sides of the tray elevator for reading information from or inputting information to optical disc; and optical disc fixture setting on the tray to hold the rotating optical disc via magnetically clamping force. When some light pick-up does not attend the pick-up of the optical disc, the other pick-ups may pick up from the optical disc, so that the optical disc recording/playing device may be compatible with optical discs in different formats. 本发明是关于多光盘记录/播放装置及其控制方法，本发明是由以下部件组成：放置光盘的托盘；安装在上述托盘的上侧并旋转光盘的光盘驱动马达以及旋转台；分别安装在上述托盘的升降两侧读取光盘的信息或者是在光盘上输入信息的多个光拾取器；设在上述托盘上，当旋转台接近的时候被旋转台的磁力靠拢的同时按住光盘的光盘夹子。在这些光拾取器中的任一个不与光盘照应的时候，移动到别的拾取器后与可照应的光拾取器对应，以此在一个光盘记录/播放装置上可以兼容多种格式的光盘记录或者是播放。
