Light gauge wheel

A light wheel, especially a bicycle wheel, which comprises two disk spokes, wheel hub and wheel ring. When the edge of spokes are engaged with wheels, the spokes will deform in the direction of axle and produce some stress. Ribs and holes are in spokes which could improve strength or reduce weight. Spokes could be pressed and formed by metal, or could be made from organic composite materials. Theconnection mode could be soldering, rivet joint or bonding, or their combination. Since the right and left spokes could deform in the direction of axle when connecting, and produce some stress, the strength of wheels is greatly improved. 一种轻型车轮，尤其是自行车轮，由两片大致为平面的圆盘状的轮辐与轮毂和轮圈联接而成，轮辐的边缘部位与轮辋联接时由于发生轴向变形而使其产生一定的预应力。轮辐上可设肋和孔，以增加强度或减少重量。轮辐可用金属板材冲压成型，亦可用有机复合材料制成。联接可以是焊接，也可以是铆接或粘接，或是几种方式的组合。本发明因为左右轮辐在联接时产生轴向变形，能形成一定的预应力，从而使车轮强度有了较大的提高。
