Detection and regulation method for LCD brightness

This invention provides a method for adjusting and detecting brightness of a back light source of a LCD including designing a predetermined value with brightness information then to detect brightnessof a back light source with a light sensor to get a detection value to be an analog signal to be converted into a digital signal by an analog/digital converter to be compared with the predetermined value by a microprocessor, if the digital signal is not equal to the predetermined value, then the microprocessor determines an adjust value and adjusts the brightness of the back light source. 本发明提供一种调整与探测液晶显示器的背光源亮度的方法。调整的方法包含设定具有亮度信息的预定值。接着利用光传感器探测背光源的亮度，并得到一探测值，此探测值为模拟信号。接着将此模拟信号通过模拟/数字转换器转换成数字信号，接着由微处理器进行此数字信号与预定值的比较。接着，若此数字信号不等于预定值，则微处理器确定一调整值，并根据此调整值调整背光源的亮度。
