Zusammenfassung:	A computer LAN-type fingerprint-base entrance guard system is composed of hardware and software. Its hardware is composed of fingerprint processing server, multiple entrance guard terminals and network communication equipment. A LAN is composed of said fingerprint processing server and multiple entrance guard terminals. The fingerprint data is acquired, compressed and encrypted by the entrance guard terminals and then transmitted to the fingerprint processing server, where original data is restored by decompression and decryption and compared with the fingerprint data stored in database. The result is transmitted to the entrance guard terminal to open or lock door.
