The invention is a pincerlike dc ammeter, providing a non-connecting dc ammeter. It consists of induction pincers, Hall component, amplifying circuit, measuring range converting circuit and meter head, the Hall component set in the installating mouth of the induction pincers, the output end linked with the input end of the amplifying circuit whose output end is linked with the converting circuit,the output end of the converting circuit linked with the meter head, and uses the magnetic field due to direct current to act on the Hall component through the induction pincers, and makes the meter head display the corresponding values after the amplification and conversion, so indirectly indicate the current magnitude in the lead.
