Cluster management method and system for low-end switches

The invention relates to a method and system for managing exchanger at low end. In the invention, a specific designed communication and management protocol is used to manage low-end exchange. With remote exchangers being grouped, server in cluster management mode can manage a group of remote exchangers, which have identical configuration through the communication and management protocol. Said protocol does not consume too mush resources of server and low-end exchanger so as to solve the issue of managing exchanger in low end. The invented method and system can widely be used in area of exchanger communication.
