Route planning, terrain evading and fly environment warming system for general-purpose aviation

A route planning, terrain evading and fly environment warning system for general-purpose aviation is disclosed. A group of terrain nodes whose height is lower than minimal fly height is located and collected to create a terrain model. Based on said model, the collision examination, mountain region boundry and region incresement techniques are developed. A visibility graph is used for dynamic route selection to reduce instantaneous calculation load. An octantal tree terrain model is used to implement CFIT warning function which uses terrain document as reference.
