Electrical terminals

PURPOSE: To provide an electric terminal which can assure interconnection between a first and a second electric wires, and in which the first electric wire can connect with the second electric wire in orthogonal relation. CONSTITUTION: An electric terminal 1 formed by blanking and bending a metal is provided with a pair of opposing first electric wire receiving slots 4 and 4 which are formed on a pair of opposing first plates 3 and 3, respectively and a pair of opposing second electric wire receiving slots 8 and 8 which are formed on a pair of opposing second plates 7 and 7, respectively. The pair of second plates 7 and 7 are formed of a pair of plates which are bent substantially normal to a plate 12 from the both edges of the plate 12 extending from the one side of the first plates 3 and 3. The pair of second electric wire receiving slots 8 and 8 formed on the second plates 7 and 7 are substantially orthogonal to the pair of first electric wire receiving slots 4 and 4 formed on the first plates 3 and 3.
