Zusammenfassung:	A device for cooling and preparing a melt-spun fiber comprises: a quench filtration core disposed in the center of an annular fiber arrangement and an oil unit which supplies a spinning oil through a supply conduit by an external spinning oil metering pump and wets a moving fiber in an annular slit; which is characterized in that the oil unit is divided into regions of the same size which are disposed in a ring, and the oil unit comprises a flow distribution element disposed upstream of the regions so that the element evenly distributes the spinning oil discharged from the conduit to all regions from where the spinning oil flows through the annular slit.
