Pressure filter

The invention concerns a filter press comprising at least two plates (1, 2) which have adjacent peripheral zones (1a, 2a) defining a joint face (7) and delimiting between them a filtering space (6), a membrane (8) extending in this space and of which the peripheral part (9) is engaged between said peripheral zones of the plates on at least one part of its length so as to have a mobile zone on either side of which are delimited a filtering chamber (10) and a pressure chamber (11), means (23, 26) for bringing a product to be filtered into the said filtering chamber (10), means (39) for supplying a fluid into the pressure chamber (11) and means (20, 29, 37) for draining the filtrate from said filtering chamber, the said peripheral part (9) of said membrane (8) comprising at least a branch conduit (25) which is engaged between said peripheral zones (1a, 2a) of said plates.
