Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to nanometer fluorescent powder activated by trivalent rare earth ion. The nanometer fluorescent powder has the composition of (Ln1-xRx)2O3, where Ln is Y, La, Gd or Lu and R is other trivalent rare earth activator. The precusor is first prepared through combined homogeneous urea precipitation process and supersonic chemical process and then burned at 900-1500 deg.c in the air for 0.5-3 hr to decompose it to obtain the nanometer fluorescent powder of the present invention. The new type nanometer fluorescent powder may be used in CRT, FED, PDP, fluorescent lamp, flashing ceramic, etc.
