Zusammenfassung:	A cable network is disclosed. At least one bridge receiver the first carrier signal at the first carrier frequency from common communication medium. The envelop is modulated before it is put in the first carrier signals. The bridge demodulates the envelop coming from the first cable segment in the first carrier signals, then selects the envelop whose destination is outside the first cable segmentfrom the demodulated envelops. After modulated, the selected envelop is sent into the second carrier signals at the second carrier frequency. Then the second carrier signals are sent to upstream connection over common communication medium by bridge.
