The method comprises the following steps: step 1, acquiring a lattice atmospheric temperature and humidity profile data estimation value of a target area; step 2, obtaining a corrected atmospheric stability parameter of the target area; 3, determining a potential convection generation area of the target area reflected by each atmospheric stability parameter; and 4, comprehensively evaluating the convective potential of the target area.
