A face candidate region is detected from an image using a first face detector. A facial organ detector is used to acquire a position of a facial organ from an image of a first region detected as a facial candidate region. A transformed image is generated by transforming the image of the first region based on the position of the facial organ. Whether or not to output an image of the first region is controlled based on a detection result of a face detected from the converted image using the second face detector. 使用第一面部检测器来从图像中检测面部候选区域。使用面部器官检测器来从被检测为面部候选区域的第一区域的图像中获取面部器官的位置。通过基于面部器官的位置对第一区域的图像进行变换来生成变换图像。基于使用第二面部检测器从变换图像中检测的面部的检测结果，来控制是否输出第一区域的图像。
