The box girder cavity detection system comprises a first sensor device, a controller connected with the first sensor device, and a wireless network device connected with the controller. The first sensor equipment comprises a plurality of stress sensors; the controller is configured to obtain box girder cavity information, and the stress sensors are vertically arranged in a plurality of to-be-detected areas; acquiring stress data of each to-be-detected area to form a stress detection information set; and detecting each to-be-detected area according to the stress detection information set, taking the to-be-detected area which does not accord with the hole detection scoring standard as a hole detection abnormal area, generating first alarm information, and sending the first alarm information to the user equipment.
